Quickstart

Connect Claude to your Postika account, create a project API key and schedule your first post from the terminal.

Before you start
You need a Postika account with an active subscription or trial and at least one connected channel. Without an active subscription, the API and MCP answer 402.

Connect Claude in one minute

No keys, no config files. Claude discovers Postika's OAuth server and asks you to allow access.

  1. 1
    In Claude, open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.
  2. 2
    Paste the MCP server URL: https://postika.app/api/mcp
  3. 3
    Click Connect. Postika opens; sign in if needed and click Allow (Permitir).
  4. 4
    Back in Claude, ask: “What channels do I have in Postika?”

Other clients (ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code…) are covered in MCP server.

Create an API key

  1. 1
    Open your project in Postika and go to Connect AI (Conectar IA) in the sidebar.
  2. 2
    Under Project keys (Claves de proyecto), click New key (Nueva clave) and give it a name. API keys are managed only here: Settings (Ajustes) just links to this page.
  3. 3
    Copy the key. It starts with ptk_ and is shown only once.
export POSTIKA_KEY="ptk_…"
A key gives full access to one project. Keep it on the server side; never ship it in a browser or mobile app.

Your first post

1. Find a channel

curl https://postika.app/api/v1/channels \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $POSTIKA_KEY"
Response
{
  "data": [
    {
      "id": "8d0c6f8e-2b7a-4c1e-9f43-2f1d7a8b5c10",
      "network": "LinkedIn",
      "handle": "acme",
      "demo": false,
      "max_chars": 3000,
      "needs_media": false
    }
  ]
}

2. Schedule it

Use approval so the post waits for you in the app. Switch to schedule when you trust the flow.

curl https://postika.app/api/v1/posts \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $POSTIKA_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{
    "content": "Hello from the Postika API",
    "channel_ids": ["8d0c6f8e-2b7a-4c1e-9f43-2f1d7a8b5c10"],
    "when": "2026-11-12 09:30",
    "mode": "approval"
  }'
Response
{
  "data": {
    "id": "f2b1c0de-5a4e-4d0b-8a77-0c6e3b9d1a42",
    "status": "pending_approval",
    "when": "2026-11-12 09:30"
  }
}

The post now shows in your calendar, waiting for approval. Next: the full REST API reference.
