YouTube limits ChatGPT must follow
Postika tells ChatGPT that YouTube channels need a video and accept no images, with up to 5,000 characters of text. Since files cannot go through the connector, ChatGPT creates YouTube posts in approval or draft mode. Each one waits in the calendar at its release time until you attach the video and approve.
Shorts and long videos are both one-video posts. The difference is the file you upload, not the way it is scheduled. More in YouTube Shorts scheduling.
The batching workflow
Batching is how most Shorts creators keep up a daily schedule, and it is where ChatGPT saves the most time: writing ten descriptions by hand is the boring part. Give ChatGPT a list of what each video covers and your posting rhythm, and it creates ten pending posts spread across the calendar. Then you go through them in Postika once, attaching each file.
Use the same chat to schedule text posts on Threads, Facebook or LinkedIn that point to new videos; those networks accept text-only posts and publish on their own. Not included
Postika does not set thumbnails, playlists or subtitles and does not show YouTube analytics. Finish those in YouTube Studio. Postika's job is to publish the video and its text at the right time, on every plan from €29/month (pricing).
A release-day checklist
- The day before, ask ChatGPT "what YouTube posts are pending for tomorrow?" and make sure each has its video attached.
- Check that the description links point to the right playlist or product.
- Approve the post; Postika publishes it at the planned time in your project's time zone.
- In the same chat, schedule the text posts that announce it on other networks.

Frequently asked questions
Can ChatGPT schedule YouTube Shorts?
ChatGPT can create the Short's post in Postika with its description and time. You attach the video in Postika and approve, and Postika publishes it.
Can I post images to YouTube with Postika?
No. Postika publishes only videos to YouTube, one per post.
Does ChatGPT see my YouTube views?
No. Postika does not provide analytics, so ChatGPT only sees what is on your Postika calendar.
