Publish now, schedule, or wait for approval
On Facebook, ChatGPT can use all four Postika modes because text-only posts are allowed:
- now for urgent updates: closures, weather delays, sold-out notices.
- schedule for routine posts you trust: weekly hours, event reminders.
- approval (the default) when you want to read it first.
- draft for ideas without a date.
Postika's server asks ChatGPT to use approval unless you say otherwise, so for a "publish now" you need to say it clearly, as in the first example prompt. Every post is checked against Postika's Facebook limit of 5,000 characters, and you can add up to 10 images in the app. Format details in Facebook scheduling.
Good ChatGPT habits for a Facebook Page
- Give context once. Use ChatGPT's custom instructions or a project for your business name, address, tone and the phrases you never use.
- Ask for structure. Short paragraphs and one call to action read better than a wall of text.
- Adapt, don't copy. When reusing a post from another network, ask ChatGPT to rewrite it for Facebook rather than duplicating it; see cross-posting.
- Check before holidays. Ask "what's scheduled on Facebook between 20 and 31 December?" to catch outdated posts.
