Pinterest rules in Postika
- Image required: every pin needs one image. Postika allows 1 image per pin (Pinterest supports more in some formats; Postika's limit is 1).
- 500 characters of description.
- Media cannot be sent over MCP, so Claude always creates pins in
approvalordraftmode.

Why Claude suits Pinterest
People find pins by searching, so a description should use the words they type, written naturally. Claude can read a full article and produce several descriptions, each focused on a different search phrase, which lets you pin the same article several times with different images over a few weeks without repeating yourself.
For shops, give Claude the product page and ask for material, size, color and use cases in plain language. Pair each pin with a link that has UTM parameters from the UTM builder so you see Pinterest traffic in your analytics. Postika does not show Pinterest analytics itself. Pinning one article several times
A blog post can earn traffic from Pinterest for months if you pin it more than once with different images and descriptions. A simple plan for each new article:
- Ask Claude for four descriptions, each built around a different search phrase.
- Let Claude create four pending pins, one a week for a month, at evening times.
- Make four different pin images (a photo, a list graphic, a quote, a step) in your design tool.
- Attach one image per pin in Postika and approve.
