Claude × Threads

Conversational Threads posts, scheduled by Claude

Threads is chattier than LinkedIn and roomier than X. Claude can write in that register and Postika keeps every post under the 500-character limit.

Step by step

  1. 1

Tell Claude the tone you want on Threads: casual, first person, a question to start a conversation.

  2. 2

Give it the topic or a longer piece to adapt.

  3. 3

Let Claude create the Threads posts in Postika, scheduled or pending approval.

  4. 4

Add images in Postika if a post needs them.

Example prompts

  • Write five Threads posts about what we learned opening our second café. Casual, first person, each ending with a question. Under 400 characters. Pending approval daily at 20:00.
  • Adapt my LinkedIn post from Tuesday for Threads: half the length, more relaxed.
  • Write a Threads post asking people what they want in our next product update. Schedule it for Sunday at 11:00.
  • Check my Threads calendar for the week and suggest one post for any empty day.
  • Turn these 3 customer questions into 3 Threads posts that answer them. Drafts.

Threads rules in Postika

  • 500 characters per post.
  • Up to 10 images, or one video, added in the app.
  • Text-only posts allowed, so Claude can use schedule mode.

That makes Threads a network where Claude's posts can go live without you opening Postika, once you trust the output. Start with approval and switch later. Format notes are on Threads scheduling.

Writing for Threads instead of copying from elsewhere

Threads posts that start conversations tend to work better than announcements. Ask Claude for first-person posts that share an opinion or an experience and end with an open question. Claude follows tone instructions closely, so write the rules once ("no hashtags, no exclamation marks, max two sentences before the question") in a Claude Project and reuse them.

If you also post on Instagram, Threads is a natural place to reuse ideas, but don't paste the caption: ask Claude to rewrite it for 500 characters and a conversational tone. The same goes for X, where the limit drops to 280; see Claude for X and cross-posting. For quick shortening of existing captions, see ChatGPT for Threads.

Things Postika does not handle on Threads

Postika publishes single posts. It does not publish multi-post chains, reply to comments or show Threads insights. Threads is included on every plan alongside the other 8 networks (pricing).

A simple Threads rhythm

Many accounts do well with one Threads post a day in the evening, when people scroll and reply. Ask Claude for a week at a time: five conversation starters and two short updates, placed on free days at 20:00. Because Threads accepts text alone, you can let Claude schedule the conversation starters directly and keep approval only for the posts that mention offers, dates or other people. Check your calendar on Sunday with a single prompt: "what's on Threads this week?".

Let Claude plan and schedule your social media posts

  1. 1

In Postika, connect the channels you want Claude to post to (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads and so on) inside a project.

  2. 2

On claude.ai, open Settings → Connectors and click Add custom connector.

  3. 3

Name it Postika and paste the server URL https://postika.app/api/mcp.

  4. 4

Click Connect, sign in to Postika and click Allow on the permission screen.

  5. 5

Start a chat and ask Claude something like "What is scheduled in Postika next week?" to check the connection. The same connector shows up in Claude Desktop and the Claude mobile apps on that account.
